Maximum Temporary Insurance Agreement (TIA) coverage increase to $1 Million

Effective April 9, 2020, Empire Life has increased the maximum coverage provided in our Temporary Insurance Agreement from $500,000 to $1,000,000.

Our TIA provides temporary insurance coverage for a maximum of 90 days for eligible life insureds who apply. The temporary insurance coverage amount is the lesser of the coverage amount applied for or $1,000,000. Full terms and conditions are outlined in the Temporary Insurance Agreement..

New COVID-19 Underwriting (UW) Questions

Effective April 9, 2020, Empire Life has added 7 additional UW questions for all applicants of life and health insurance applications to complete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These questions have been added to our Fast & Full Life App process and our paper applications on a temporary basis for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
