Investment client net growth calculation on MyEmpire

We recently launched a new feature on My Empire allowing your clients to view their investments’ net growth and transaction details online. Based on feedback received from clients and advisors, we have modified the way we are displaying this feature to be more consistent with industry best practices.

To view their updated investment net growth and transaction history, clients will need to simply log-in to their MyEmpire account, select their policy and click on “Net growth & transactions”. An email communication will be sent to your clients informing them of this change.

Beneficiary Designation Form now available for eSignature on My Advisor Dashboard

The popular and frequently used form D-0017 for beneficiary designation has now been made available as an eSignature form on My Advisor Dashboard. The form allows you to name or change the beneficiary on an existing policy or contract, name additional beneficiaries, and acts as a supplement to a new application. All you need to do is complete the form and have your client sign it electronically.

Helping advisors establish a complaint handling procedure

All Advisors should have a documented complaint handling policy in place to ensure complaints are handled in a fair and timely manner. Having a documented complaint handling policy is an industry requirement and is mandatory  for advisors licensed in Quebec.
