Run legacy PAR conversion illustrations directly in the eVision Insurance Illustrator™

As we communicated back in January, you're the agent of record for an Empire Life participating policy issued before 2004 with the Extender dividend option and no lifetime guarantee for Term Additions. Current dividends and/or accumulated funds may no longer support payments for the Term Additions selected in the initial application. As a result, these policies may be at risk of providing a lower insurance coverage amount than what was illustrated at the time of purchase. 

 

Several conversion options now available

You can now use eVision to help run illustrations for Legacy PAR conversions. We recommend you request an inforce illustration of their existing policy as noted here. It will provide you with a clear view into the current state of the policy and help you determine, with your clients, whether the policy is meeting their current needs. If it isn't, you can then illustrate several conversion options in eVision to present to your clients to help them manage expected insurance coverage amounts, including:

  • Whole Iife EstateMax®, Optimax Wealth® and Solution 100®
  • New Enhanced options including Term to 100, Term to 100 (20 Pay) and Solution 10®, 15, 20, 25 and 30 term products
  • Extending the conversion age limit to 75 from 70
Login to eVision

Here's how it works:

When you login to eVision, you will now see 2 options to select from - New Business and Legacy Par Program Conversions. In the 'Legacy PAR Program Conversions' box, enter the existing policy number and then click Create.

You can then illustrate several options, as mentioned above, for your clients wishing to convert their coverage.

Next steps:

  1. Review your Prioritized Client Listing on the My Advisor Dashboard and reach out to your client(s) 
  2. Submit an Inforce request following these directions to get a clear view into the current state of the policy
  3. Familiarize yourself with the conversion options available, and run some scenarios in eVision
  4. Check out the other policy change illustrations you can request
  5. Contact your sales representative with any questions
