Licences & Jurisdictions 

I am licensed as a life and health insurance agent in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and PEI.

Relationship with the Company

I am an employee of The Empire Life Insurance Company (Empire Life). I do not hold an ownership interest in Empire Life.

Products I can sell and service 

As an employee of Empire Life, I can only sell and provide service regarding life insurance products, including investment products, and health insurance products offered by Empire Life.

My overall recommendation of insurance products to you is based on my analysis of your life and/or health insurance needs and the Empire Life product(s) I determine meet those needs. I will tell you if there are no Empire Life products that meet your life and/or health insurance needs.

I will use online and digital tools to assist you, including to assess your insurance needs, recommend products, complete applications for products and provide other services. I work primarily in a non-face to face environment. Should you require or want a life insurance advisor to meet with you in person, I can help you find such an advisor.

Compensation 

If I assist you with the purchase of or provide services with respect to an Empire Life insurance product, I will be paid a sales commission and I may receive a renewal (or service) commission on policies that remain active. I may be eligible to receive additional compensation, such as bonuses based on overall sales and service targets.

Conflict of Interest 

I take seriously the possibility that a conflict of interest could arise with respect to the sale of life and/or health insurance products or services I provide to you. At this time, I am not aware of any actual or potential conflicts of interest. I will notify you if I become aware of any actual or potential conflicts of interest.

The protection of your privacy and personal information is important to me, as an insurance advisor, and to Empire Life. I will collect your personal information, which may include, but is not limited to, health, financial and business information, for the purposes of providing advice to you and ensuring that the insurance products or services provided are appropriate.

If you apply for an insurance product, the application will describe how Empire Life and I may collect, use and disclose your personal information provided in relation to the application. You may request access to the personal information that I, as your advisor, and Empire Life retain about you and have it updated or corrected, if required.

You may withdraw your consent for further use of your personal information at any time, although withdrawing your consent may prevent me, as your advisor, and Empire Life from providing services to you.
